<div itemprop="description">CROSBY, Rita Loretta (Mansell) (nee St. Louis)<br />Born August 11, 1919 and passed on December 14, 2014. Rita has departed from a wonderful and happy life with a caring family. Predeceased by her parents George and Lillian St. Louis. In marriage Rita was doubly blessed. Her first husband, the late Thomas Mansell (1969) was a model loving partner who was a guiding light in raising their nine children Joanne Mansell, Woodslee, Ken and Debbie Mansell, Amherstburg, Mike and Vi Mansell, Callander, Rose and Joe Chevalier, Kenora, Paul Mansell (1973), Pat and Marilyn Mansell, Ruscom; Claudette and Doug Wood, Woodslee, Claude Mansell, Amherstburg and Angie and Rick Abbruzzese, Belle River. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. In 1981 Rita married her second husband, the late Jack Crosby (1990) and added three grown children to our family Jack Crosby Jr., Toronto, Cecile Rumiel, Chatham and Gary and Pauline Crosby, LaSalle. She is grateful that they accepted her as their stepmother. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Rena Beaulieu, Sister Rose St. Louis, Alice Bourque, George St. Louis and Dennis St. Louis. Also predeceased by daughter-in-law Carmel Mansell (2001). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and all who knew her. A special thank-you to Dr. J. Li Wan Po. Our mother was a very loving and selfless person who devoted her entire life to her family. Through her love and actions, she instilled strong family values to both her children and grandchildren. She was truly beautiful inside and out. She will be greatly missed and will live forever in our memories and in our hearts. Visitation will be held at MELADY FUNERAL HOME, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River, Ontario, 519-728-1500 on Wednesday from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Catholic Women&rsquo;s League Prayers will be said Wednesday at 3 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until procession to ST. SIMON &amp; ST. JUDE CHURCH for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Woodslee.
