<div itemprop="description">Born October 1, 1932, after a long battle with illness, she returned to her Lord on February 2, 2015, Late of the town of Tilbury, with her loving husband Joseph and sons by her side. Loving mother of Tom (Marilyn), the late Joseph (1986), Ronald, Louis (Roxanne) and John (Helen). Cherished grandma of Jessica (Chad), Terry (Sylvie), Tim, Jamie (Matt), Lindsay, Emily, Karen and Nicole. Great-grandmother of Tyler, Dustin, Amber, Chrisander, Blake, Brent, Brock, Brody, Graceyn, Autumn, Dakoda and Chadyn. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Armand and Clarice Laporte and siblings Harvey (Theresa), Celina (Don), Leah (Pete), Rita (Paul), Lawrence (Grace) and Edward (Alice). Sister-in-law of Loretta (late Larry), late Jo-Anne (late Lylle), late Vincent (late Bernice), Sally (Russ), Alice (late Edward) and Victor (Alice). We wish to extend many thanks to our family and friends, who have made this journey with us. Also thank you to the staff at Tilbury Manor, special thanks to Nicole, the PSW&rsquo;s, CCAC and to neighbors and friends. Jeannette was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and friend. She worked side by side with the love of her life, husband Joseph, in their family business for 35 years. She enjoyed shopping and the camaraderie of friends and family stopping by, and having a good euchre game. Her bright smile will be sadly missed, but her love remains forever. Visiting will be held at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame St., Belle River (519-728-1500) on Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at St. Simon and St. Jude Church on Thursday, February 5, 2015, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Simon &amp; St. Jude Cemetery.
