<div itemprop="description">90 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 15, 2016 at Country Village Health Care Centre in Woodslee. Beloved wife of the late William (1990). Predeceased by parents Albert and Georgine Durocher. Loving mother of Monique DeBrouwer (Larry), Mary Anne Vickerd (1995), Mary Margaret Raaymakers (Tim) and Georgine Willemsma (Fred). Cherished Mémé to Matthew, Laura, Michelle, Joseph, Emily, Jacob, Kaylie, Rachelle and Simon. Dear sister to Marie-Rose and predeceased by Marguerite (1919), Louis (1963), Paul (1977), Marguerite Cyrenne (2003), Noé (1930), George (1992), Ovila (1984). Survived by sisters-in-law Betty Durocher and Elaine Durocher-Garant. Thérèse will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Fr. Maurice Charbonneau and St. John the Evangelist Parish Community, Dr. Child and the exceptional staff at Country Village Health Care Centre. Thérèse was a long time member of St. John the Evangelist Parish and the CWL. From her earliest years, Thérèse was devoted to her family. With great love and joy she lived a life of sacrifice caring for her three siblings who had disabilities and anyone else in need. Visiting will be held at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St. Belle River 519-728-1500) on Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. CWL prayers at 3 p.m. and parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. The funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Parish for the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
