<div itemprop="description">POLLOCK, Murray<br /><br />74 years, passed away at WRH Metropolitan Campus on June 23, 2014. <br /><br />Beloved husband of the late Virginia (2004). Loving dad of Shannon Pollock and Erin &amp; Nick Hayes. Proud Pops to Gage, Brody, Heath and Rowan. <br /><br />Brother to Louise Claeys and Dick Pollock. <br /><br />He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved Labrador Retriever &ldquo;Lady&rdquo;. <br /><br />An Electrician by trade, Murray spent 25+ years as a Maintenance Supervisor at General Motors Transmission Plant where he was respected by many. <br /><br />Murray will forever be remembered for his tremendous sense of humour, quirky jokes, and one-liners. His greatest gift was bringing a smile to people&rsquo;s faces.<br /><br />Visiting at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River (519-728-1500) on Wednesday, June 25 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday, June 26, 2014 leaving the funeral home at 10 a.m. going in procession to St. Simon &amp; St. Jude Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Simon &amp; St. Jude Cemetery.<br /><br />Special thanks to the ER, ICU, and 6th North Staff at WRH Met Campus for the kindness and care they provided.<br /><br />Memorial donations made to the WRH Metropolitan Campus Emergency Department or to the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.<br /><br />You may leave your condolences online at<br /><br /></div>
