<div itemprop="description">It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Meme, and Great-Grandmother. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Andre. Cherished and proud Mother to Malinda Hebert (Ron), Jeanne Marchand (Ken Blyth), Angela Trimble (Richard) and the late Steven Watts (1991), and Simone James. Dear Meme to Michael (Erin), Robert, Jennifer (Jason), David (Lindsay), Derek (Andrea), Andre (1996), and Matthew. Great-Grandmother of Dylan, Paige, and Emma. Dear daughter of Xavier St. John (Florence). Predeceased by brothers Maurice (Helen), Leon (survived by Marcella), Edward (Rose-Mai), Arthur (survived by Emily), Albert (survived by Mary) and by sister Bernadette (John). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful staff at La Chaumiere Retirement Residence. Mom loved playing cards, making tortiere, and spending time with the family at the cottage. Many late nights of cards were enjoyed by all. She was a member of the Kaycelles Council 2775 and a long-time member of the Belle River Good Neighbour Club. Visitation will be held at Melady Funeral Home (572 Notre Dame St., Belle River, 519-728-1500) on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m.. Kaycelles prayers will take place at 3:00 p.m. and parish prayers will take place at 8:30 pm. Visiting will continue at St. Simon & St. Jude Parish on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
