<div itemprop="description">ST.PIERRE, Beatrice - passed away peacefully at Malden Park Continuing Care on July 15, 2014 at age 87. Beloved wife of the late Hector (2004). Loving mother of Rebecca and her husband Colin, Tom and his husband Rich (Richie), and Rick and his wife Lucille (Lou). Cherished grandmother of Melissa and Bradley. Sister of the late Virgina Hope.Beatrice was a warm, generous, feisty, religious woman who absolutely adored her two grandchildren, Melissa and Bradley. She enjoyed snacking on Turtle chocolates, making chicken and sliders for her family and in her later years, celebrating special occasions at her favourite restaurant, Red Lobster. Although Beatrice seldom left her hometown of Belle River, the many gifts of bells she was given over the years brought the world to her door. Some of the more than 40 bells travelled in suitcases or via Canada Post from places as far away as Prince Edward Island, British Columbia, Florida, and Jamaica. As a devout Catholic, she braided palms for St. Simon and St. Jude Church, prayed daily for family, friends and those battling cancer, and recited the rosary before nodding off to sleep. Her family is heartbroken to know they will never hear her voice or see her precious smirk again. They know without a doubt though she will always be with them in spirit. Visitation will be held at MELADY FUNERAL HOME 572 Notre Dame St. St. Belle River on Thursday (today) from 1-4 &amp; 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday 3pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:30 am until time of procession to ST. SIMON &amp; ST JUDE CHURCH for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at St. Simon St. Jude Cemetery. Donations to the Heart &amp; Stroke or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
